The countdown is on. The clock is ticking. The Trade Deadline is upon us. Teams have until 6 p.m. ET Monday to work out any deals they hope can help them down the stretch this season or in future seasons.
We've already seen one blockbuster -- Tarik Skubal to the Dodgers -- plus some smaller but still-significant moves, such as Freddy Peralta to the Rays and Luis Castillo to the White Sox. But these and other teams still could have trades in the works.

Cubs: The Cubs are looking to buy, and pitching is the priority, starting with a deal for Kevin Gausman on Sunday night. While Chicago is in the market for late-inning bullpen help, adding to the rotation is the No. 1 goal. The Cubs were rumored to have at least inquired about Tarik Skubal, so that shows Chicago is willing to swing big. The Cubs have a farm system heavy on position players, but there is enough depth there to pull off a few trades to solve the need for pitching reinforcements.
